This project is designed for prospective graduate students who are exploring enrollment in the Master of Education in Educational Technology program.
Learner Characteristics:
Small Cohort Size: The expected group consists of approximately 20 learners. A smaller class size supports more personalized instruction, greater participation, and stronger peer collaboration.
Educational Background: All prospective students have earned a bachelor’s degree in any field. This suggests they possess a foundational level of academic preparation and are capable of engaging with advanced learning content.
Experience Level: No prior experience in educational technology is required. Because learners may come from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, the instructional approach will begin with foundational concepts and provide sufficient support through structured guidance.
Design Implications: Given this audience’s diverse experience levels and academic backgrounds, the instructional content must be clear, accessible, and supportive. Multimedia elements, introductory terminology, and visual aids will be used to make the material understandable to all learners.
